Shelter Casting is a boutique casting company known for its personalized approach and diverse range of projects. Founded by Jillian Johnston, who began her casting career in Los Angeles in 2010, the company now operates out of Austin, Texas, while maintaining strong relationships with clients across the U.S., as well as in Mexico, Europe, and Canada.

Jillian brings extensive experience to the table, having cast feature films, national SAG and non-union commercials, print campaigns and multilingual voiceover projects. While she enjoys all aspects of casting, her true passion lies in research and finding talent for highly specific or unconventional roles. This dedication has led her to collaborate closely with the WGA Diversity Committee.

She is a proud member of the Casting Society of America and the Commercial Casting Directors Association, and has been honored with a nomination for the Heller Award for Excellence in Casting.
